The December 2003 benefit raised
over $850
for the Madagascar Fauna Group,

Madagascar Fauna
Group (MFG) Fundraising Benefit
In collaboration with the Lemur Lounge,
I organized a benefit for the Madagascar Fauna Group in December
2003. My responsibilities included creating a slide/video show,
creating artwork, obtaining educational materials and gifts from
five lemur- related non-profit organizations, writing press release
and promoting the event through various media outlets. The event
raised over $850 for the MFG, and raised awareness about lemur conservation
among 120 attendees.
